It doesnt matter what speed you were going, he missjudged it to get passed cleanly before the blind bend, he seemed to think he had the time, obviously he didnt.
And your right, misjudgement while in charge of large vehicles can be dangerous.
It wasnt obvious in the vid how desperate your action was to avoid being killed, but you must have reacted very well to the threat, as your still here.

I just slowed down and moved as far left as possible, there is a squeaking sound in the video and that's my front brake being used harder than normal, my front brake squeaked all day after that.

An update:

Received a letter from the bus company stating they had reviewed the buses on board cctv footage and they agree with my description of the incident. They have spoken to the driver and taken "suitable" actions, the drivers future performance is being monitored.
