eye/motor memory coordination. Basically if you look at what you don't want to hit then 9 times out of 10 you'll hit it. If you look away from it then 9 times out of 10 you'll go around it. He concentrated on/ started looked at the wall because he wanted to avoid it & from that moment on was always going to end up with a crunch.
I know better but sh*t happens.
Also tried to lean the bike into the very gental corner but due to how much brake I was using the bike shrugs it off and goes where it wants which is stright . Rookie error which is not going to happen agian.
Need a super moto

When you get target fixated you do all kinds of weird stuff like that. ;) I never had a problem riding the rear brake into a turn, but then again my last motorbike was a total b**ch to ride. You really had to muscle it into the corner & it wasn't fussed which end it'd throw you off under any circumstance.

Target fixation happens, but I can't for the life of me see how it happened there. The OP could have comfortably gone through that gentle bend two or three times faster without the slightest drama.

Even if you do find yourself entering a bend too hot, it's almost always going to be better to stay off the brakes and lean over further. I'd strongly suggest a lesson with an instructor on counter-steering.

No idea. Come down the hill which is more difficult, pushing it much more and going a lot faster with no trouble.
Meh. Not going to mess up like that again. For some reason I decided to stay on the brakes rather than come off them and actually just going round what is a gental bend.
