I cant see a thread......but please remove this if there is.
Now I am not criticising him (let him without son cast the 1st stone comes to mind).......but certain things jump out.
He is reportedly worth £10M+.
He was on a basic salary of £2M
He had his dream job.
One assumes he is reasonably smart/savvy
He KNOWS that "stings" are common place in football etc.
So......why the hell did he sacrifice it all for something I doubt he actually needs ?(£400K)

Bless her. My wife asked me if I had heard about Sam Allardyce's sacking last night. My reply was, "Who?". She then explained he was the England football team manager and had only had the job a matter of weeks and had been caught breaking the rules. I then replied, "Why would I be interested if the England team captain was a nobber?". She then corrected me that he was the MANAGER, not the captain and that I should really pay more attention to current affairs!

I don't get it and I don't care!

Whatever happened to the FA's due diligence they supposedly completed in the search for this manager. How did they not know abut activities the 'sting' had been working on for 10 months.

How Big Sam got caught again is surprising, and I imagine his 'mutual dismissal' will mean the FA aren't going to investigate any further

He's chucked in his career for less than half his yearly wage. If I had done that I'd feel a bit stupid (if I had a career).
