hello,
just bought a brand new B67 Brooks saddle. It's pre-aged. I've ridden it for about 250 kms. It's making a creaking/squeaky sound, particularly when I'm riding uphill or over rough terrain. I haven't tensioned it and haven't put any additional tension using the laces on the side flaps. How much tension should there be on the saddle? Should it be soft or hard? I think the noise comes from the leather and not from the rubbing of the metallic parts. Is this normal? Am I missing a crucial bit of information? Have I just made a rubbish purchase?
