Noisy tyres

After repairing a puncture in my front wheel Kenda tyre (MTB) I put extra pressure in overnight to make sure all was well. I forgot to let the tyre down a bit when I rode the next day( put in 70psi instead of the 60psi I usually ride)
As far as I can see they are not directional but i might have put the tyre back on the opposite way around.

But boy! did I notice how much road noise there was. Is it the extra pressure causing it?

Knobblies are they? Then Yes.
Also you probably are finding they roll much better too?

You were probably riding faster so it made more noise! All that noise is your energy being wasted in making the knobbles squirm around.

Try some semi-slicks or some 1.8 tyres - Panaracer Fire XC pro in 1.8 size is a good, fast all-conditions tyre.

These are Kenda nobbly, can you suggest a decent semi nobbly poss puncture free( I live in the country, lots of crud on the road)

That tyre went down again I had missed taking out the tiniest thorn that had caused the first puncture, boy was it tiny.

look at scwable city jets for use if you do not off road

Great tyre for the price with some puncture protection, i think i have had 2 pun****es in coming on 2 years .
