Have you got the most recent version installed. Sports Tracker only just added the working map function recently. I think it's version 2.something. I just downloaded it the other day.
Even with that installed it won't use the maps you have installed on the phone unfortunately, it downloads it over the air everytime (so unless you allow it to connect to the internet you won't get the maps either). A stupid oversight on the part of Nokia, that hopefully will be sorted with the next update.

That's true. Thing is, it doesn't use the maps from Nokia Maps which is just stupid IMO and a PITA because I also have the entire UK on my phone. What happens is, it downloads them on the fly from the Sports Tracker site and stores it in the cache. So if you have a regular route you should be okay to have it set on just phone and use the stored info.
However, it doesn't store a huge amount of map data so if your regular route is quite big or you stray off your usual route you'll find you run out of map unless it's set on "phone and network". It's a PITA because my regular route is quite big and only about half of it appears when just "phone" is selected.
