Why not get a small rucksack?

Amazon have a belkin impulse rucksack that can take a laptop up to 17in. Amazon have quite a few laptop rucksacks. Very few straps.

I have a 'man bag' I use on occasions ... just to carry, newspaper, book, water, sarnie etc if I'm off to say London for the day. The Army Surplus Store is the place to look, there are myriad bags in all kinds of colours, shapes and sizes and all cheap as chips and none of them look like 'man bags' Look!

The bag thing is just convenient. I have stuff to carry around for work so it makes sense to have a bag....its like Mr Tumble's spotty bag but not as cool
