I love Spanish food... especially "Pulpo a la Gallega": Octopus with olive oil and paprika

Admittedly, it's not an everyday thing for me, but I love it

That looks delicious fnaar. Have you ever prepared an octopus yourself?I have -once - never again!

No I haven't, was it messy? I'd love to give it a go... I lived in Spain for a couple of years, in the north-west, which is seafood heaven! Squid cooked in their own ink...
Squid prepared in numerous imaginative ways, which makes squid rings in batter look ever so tame... I'm a seafood junkie, really, and while I lived there (late 1980s) it was easy to get excellent seafood, caught locally (they don't all go to Cornwall to nick fish  ), prepared simply but deliciously!:tongue::tongue::tongue:

My enjoyment of food has a lot to do with context. I have two slices of toast for breakfast, but when we go on our annual camping holiday I always insist on frying up eggs and bacon every morning. Add a cup of strong coffee and that's me sorted.

Fave food? hmmm, that's a very good question.. I am a total foody. I have yet to find a flavour or taste I dislike.

Hold on there was one food I didn't like, whilst in a NY sushi bar, some beige sea anemone gunk that smelt and tasted like rancid sea water.. yuk...

at a push I would have to say my favourite dish is a Duck Achar (in a medium hot Curry) from the Delhi Brasserie in Frith Street Soho.
