Take it back. Tell them the bike is not fit for purpose. INSIST on getting your cash back and take sounf advice and buy second hand.

Not sure how relevant this is, but I once saw a De Rosa road bike prominently on display in a Halfords front window. No - really! Don't recall which model it was. However, if the bike had been shipped to Halfords in bits and assembled by them - I'd still have a few misgivings...;)

Insist that they take it back. Get a Subway from them instead.

NOO!! Don't even get a Subway from them. The fillings will be of the lowest quality and will start to fall out before it has got to your mouth. By the time that you have bought suitable replacements, it will have cost you more than buying a decent snack in the first place. And the roll will start to disintegrate even before you have taken off the wrappings. Recommend going to your LSS (Local Sandwich Shop), and get a proper Sub instead, rather than a SSO (Sandwich Shaped Object).
