Thanks to a wide range of helpful advice on here I'm offering my Giant TCR frameset for sale.
Having contacted previous owner, he hadn't crashed and had continued riding happily and safely, stopping when it was pointed out to him. He concurs with a cyclechatters suggestion it may have been a result of roof rack clamp as he did use one regularly.

Could be a quick cheap fix for someone with the knowhow and confidence to DIY or access to professional services - obviously it's damaged so I couldn't recommend riding as is.

Not sure on price but if someone competent and confident could put right £55 posted is a bargain -
Shout (I know you will) if that's outrageous
Frame and fork (with headset) in very good cosmetic condition, fork with 270mm carbon steerer. RD internal routing with 'gromit'

Size? Looks like a M.

DCLane

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
What's actually wrong as it's not that clear from the photo. Is that a crack or a crease?

These frames are good, if a little old. My son's done 5000+ miles on a 2004 Composite 1 frame in the past 18 months and it handles well.

Pics are about as good as I get. Tried to explain as best I can - it's basically a fold which has led to a small 'cracking' on its ridge if that makes senses.

Lovely condition for age apart from that

Not for sale - wouldn't want anyone thinking I'll of me for selling damaged goods (albeit being completely honest about it).
Cheers

Being honest, I may still sell somewhere else but won't even mention riding rather scream 'damaged' and recommend, as someone said, ideal for practice of carbon-related repairs.
Thanks for your input

Be a good direct drive turbo bike.
If I still had one I'd have had it off you, but I prefer getting cold and wet outside than really really hot and wet inside

I have a 2004 Team Once, basically the same as the posters but yellow flashing and ONCE and the man with a stick symbol on it. Currently hibernating until the weather is dryer. My first really costly bike and still going strong even after 8 Ironman triathlons, countless shorter distance ones, sportives and training rides, hardly a mark on it. It still makes me smile every time I get on it!
