But then you are pushing yourself in terms of endurance. You don't necessarily need to go faster to improve, you can just go further.
Oh, I think the Co2 I save by not running a car equals to the Co2 emission increment I cause by ordering stuff onlineThis is it for me, and the reduction in CO2. (not that I believe in such things)

Which is pushing endurance - ultimately the precursor base to everything else you could aim for/aim to improve. You don't necessarily need to go faster to improve, you can just go further.
I think it's impossible to not be getting any faster as long as you are still pedalling. It may take longer than those who train hard or constantly challenging themselves but your body will adapt nevertheless and will become faster with time.
Who ...I just want to be able to do wheelies on my road bike like Peter Sagan does.![]()

I like him BTW.He is a young pro rider, has a lot of talent and potential, one of the more colorful characters on the tour. He can be very polarizing. People either like him or hate him. He pinched a podium girl's ass while she was kissing the winner recently. It was one of the stupidest things I have seen on live TV, also one of the funniest.I like him BTW.
