Really sorry to hear this. I had a wee black and white mongrel car from a kitten through to her death 15 years later. In that time she was the only female in my life who got excited to see me at home, who loved me unconditionally and didn't try to f*** ** ** *** ***e, and I cried like a baby when she died. I feel your pain my friend.

My sympathies Fossy - I had to go through the same thing two years ago with my old cat & it was awful. I'd had her almost 19 years from when she was a tiny kitten - they become such a part of your life that it's devastating when they're no longer around.

Thanks all for the kind words. Kids somewhat upset, so I took them to the Lego Discovery Centre, crap, but the kids enjoyed it, didn't have to pay fortunately as we have Merlin passes we've just bought.
