I also got kicked off our village FB page for being to irreverent.

That being the case I set up an alternative 'not' the village FB page and pinched all their users. The photo of the abandoned supermarket trolley in the field is what did it.

In the end I quit FB. All the petty bickering and insults from people who haven't got the stones to say it to your face.

I think your first mistake was not understanding the difference between being 'ticketed' and being 'arrested'. Being ticketed over there is like getting a FPN over here - I'm guessing it probably went downhill from that point on. The ticket can be challenged in court, just like it can over here.

Not sure if you are serious or not, because although douche is indeed shower in french, but in America it has a different meaning

Some of those Americans have some very odd ideas. I'm on another forum where the majority are from there. After some fatal shooting somewhere I suggested it might be to do with the proliferation of guns and their easy acquisition and was met with all sorts of contempt, the least offensive of which was 'dufus'. They just don't get it.

One member complained he'd sent an item for repair to another and hadn't heard anything for weeks. As he knew the guys address I suggested he go and confront him. 'They're pretty well armed down there' was the response!
