A small white car did the same thing to me at a stop sign yesterday except this one pulled farther out into my line then stopped, I was not going as fast but I didn't pull off my line until the last second just to make the guy think about it.

Am I the only one who thinks it wasn't an 'edger' but more of a "s*** I didn't see that thing"?

Possibly. I suspect that the driver saw me just fine, but assumed I was letting them out because I slowed down. Instead I slowed down because of the left hooker.

I should point out that the driver had an Exposure MaXx-D flashing at his/her face from the same height as their own car headlights. You don't miss that unless you're legally blind or didn't look at all.

Oh ok fair enough, must have been a scary moment. This happens to me a lot on the A56, but I'm so slow it doesn't cause me any issues.

I do often think how other fast cyclists cope with the creepers.

Can you be illegally blind?^_^

Nasty one that. One of my bug bears is the creepers who get the signal from another driver to let them out and then just go, even if they've seen you. There's a a petrol station on my commute home where this happens nearly every time with idiots pulling out.

Not a nice situation to be put in by two impatient drivers

I think that bus lanes should be usable to turn left at the next junction myself, the Corsa's actions would have been much clearer and would be able to sit behind you in the bus lane rather than sit behind you driving slowly in the other lane confusing people.

Except then they'd be leaning on the horn for you to get out of their way, and people would just drive in the bus lane all the time, ready with the excuse that they were planning to turn left at the next junction.

Cars parked in the bus lane. A possible left hook and one creeping over the give way lines. Very stressfull.

I'm not saying it happened but I wouldnt be surprised if they thought the indicating car flashed. OT I was surprised last week when 3 drivers in a row (different days) were flashed and actually checked rather than pulling out.
