That's my plan for my commute home this evening.

Those mountains in the background... myself and Trickedem climbed those in September... just saying like.
Here's the view from half way up back to the lake.

I'm still wearing my short sleeve shirts and summer light jacket to work each day! Long may it continue. There are still the annoying people moaning it's cold in the office when I have the window open....COLD?! I say to them and tell them that I can't take another layer off, because I will be naked and so put another layer on if you don't like it, and whilst you are at it, turn your ruddy radiator down off the inferno setting which isn't helping the office temperature which currently feels like the Sahara

they can't help complaining about the cold, they sit in their centrally heated homes watching the goggle box whilst we are out enjoying the fresh air in all weathers,we are acclimatised to the great outdoors so anything over 12 degrees "C" is too warm for us. I have the same problems at home, its a competition between me and my Mrs, she turns the heating up everytime she walks past the 'stat and i turn it back down.

Been off the bike for three weeks after a crash and secretly cursing every passing cyclist in their summer gear. First ride tomorrow just as winter says hello. Still, am just about to put cleats on my first ever winter boots! Feel a certain amount of pressure to use them, after convincing someone they were what I really, really wanted for Christmas
