Michelin latex around £7, but they don't seem to puncture much.

Might sound like a lot but it is probably the most effective bang for buck upgrade I have done. Much more effective than a fast wheel set.

More supple resulting in lower rolling resistance. Light too.

So faster AND more comfortable AND better handling.

It's not a joke ^_^ when going to the dentist or being examine by a doc I have to ask to please not to use latex globes. They are not surprised as it's not uncommon.

Allergic on contact? Wow. Bummer.

Yeap, my daughter has the same condition

Still, I think conti supersonic are just as light.

Planet-X are selling their own brand lightweight tubes at £1.99 - they won't tell you how heavy they are though.

Also Vittoria Ultralight at 84g for £1.99. I might get some.

Nice one!

@ianrauk I am looking at getting some new wheels and have been looking on the DCR Wheels website, I was first going to go for Shimano 105 hubs as everything else on the bike is 105 but I believe that they use loose bearings instead of cartridge bearings and I would rather have cartridge. I see that you went for the Classic Novatec Hubs which rims did you go for as there are a few to choose from ?

I went with the Velocity V Deep 30's. And good rims they are too.
