Thanks buddy, thats good to know

I did a lot of forum searching before buying it, it seemed very well recommended.

TBH I didn't want to spend out on a roadie just yet, but there are such good deals on the '07 stock at the moment it seemed silly not to. That's my excuse anyway

I thought recumbents were the dark side?

Anyway, enjoy your bike- as if you need any encouragement.

They are!

The MTB / Roadie issue is merely in terms of that "off white" that only a teenager's white socks can achieve and a dark grey!

Still a nice bike though!

Well it arrived today, Woo-Hoo

Big thanks to CycleStore, top service

Hurridly slapped it together and took it for a quick spin. Felt great, these roadie gears are very weird though. Got to the bottom of the road, squeezed the brake and experienced the strange sensation of the bars rotating as I'd forgotten to tighten them after setting them where I wanted them :biggrin:

Still, didn't crash and limped back home

I even bought some rubber pants yesterday so I guess the roadie transition is complete. Bring it on I say
