Fantastic band - real talent and charm to boot!

Noddy's a really interesting thoughtful bloke as well. I caught a few minutes of him on the wireless tonight. He was doing a TV review and it was a lot better than the 'proper' critics usually are.

He's in the 'Little Nibble' Hall of Fame as well.

Was he on Radcliffe and Maconie tonight, on Radio 2? He's normally good on there.

"Radcliffe and Maconie" is a good programme. Noddy is a welcome addition when he appears.

Not bad, quite a folky vibe. That damn christmas song did them in.

Something else that surprised me was a song on BBC4 pop the other night by The Small Faces, from Ogden nut mash album, something to do with making bread

it's good bringing that slade one up though.

What was it about christmas songs for slade and wizard that killed them off?

Was it the sudden money?

Status Quo were on the telly t'other night - early stuff was very good, nothing like the "normal Quo".

Ogden's Nut Gone Flake is a great album for the most part. They just got a bit carried away towards the end with that ridiculous story about the bloke going to look for the moon, or whatever it was. I suppose you had to be ripped to the tiny tits on acid to appreciate that.

He didn't go to the moon, he was looking for the moon and dangly.
