Cute they may be, but immensely strong. Got wacked by a baby elephant's trunk who woz after my bananas in Thailand. It really hurt!

I can only compare it to getting hit with the rope in the school gym when I was a kid.

You only did something wrong once! The head of PE also had the "Hot Seat" which was a small cricket bat for punishment. I saw it used once or twice. But to be fair the 5 years I spent at that school were some of the best days of my life. Much used term, but true.

We had a technical drawing techer who had a saw fish snout, which he used to dole out punishment far too regularly. Strange bloke, very strange.

Hit with a rope at school - we only got the belt(a leather strap with six ends) in Scotland(in the 70's)
