The scamera wearer tells us there's a 10mph limit then bleats that he goes faster than 10mph because [insert excuse-not dissimilar to motorist speeding excuses].

The van driver was a maintenance bloke of some sorts so likely fixing something and likely OK to be there, but we can't be sure.

I don't care if he was technically speeding or not, but to post a public vid of it having a pop at a driver says a lot about the cyclist.

I dont think the van driver had cause to beep contunuisly or what seemed like following him but when he says there is a 10mph limit then explains why he goes over it it think both are abit dodgy

Straddle the line, discord and rhyme
He only speeds where there are no pedestrians? What does he call all those people on foot then?

Agree... I think half the problem comes from the wrong message being driven out there. The media, even on some forums, where others insist "your place is over there, on the far left.."

..Perhaps that is the real reason idiots think all cyclists are lefty socialists...

I digress.

I think people can call said rider all kinds of things, but the fact remains the wrong information is often banded about. People might do better to lay off the insults and post the guy the proper cycle craft, british cycling or bikeability weblinks etc. They'd also be better to spread that message outside the cycling communities rather than be insular within their own niche. Otherwise new riders stand a chance of falling for misinformation and put themselves at risk
