Some people got a bit of gravel rash there.

I'm not rally a rugby fan, but it was nice to watch a few games without the players acting and crying like they do in football.

A cash-rich football league can install cameras at every ground. Jobs-a-plenty for camera operators, installers broadcasters etc - a whole new industry.
A third official can adjudicate - as they do at Gridiron, Rugby League and Rugby Football etc.
Any jersey tugging etc - ten minutes off the field. Any cynical stuff - ten minutes off the field. Anyone yellow carded - £10,000 to a charitable foundation. (Fining players is a joke in the upper leagues, I know, but there must be financial implications and incentives for players to just behave and set a good example.) Ten minutes minus one player and all that fouling rubbish would soon stop...by order of the management.
Citing should happen, and points be deducted from the team accordingly.
Once these adults realise that they can no longer continue with the cynical cheating bullshit that plagues some obviously excellent sportsmen, then the world would be a better place. Why is professional sport and standards not a little more consistent in respect of control and sanction the 21st Century? Answer - because the superficiality and celebrity that plagues the game at the highest levels is accepted by those keen to keep their snouts in the trough. Managers head-butting, players diving...why, there's hardly any time left for soccer!

I have an MTB and I'm an incomplete dick - only fallen off it once. (Only been on it a dozen times...sigh).
