In week three of the great flood Noah was dismayed to discover Southern Water had announced a hosepipe ban.
Hosepipe bans were introduced by King Humphrey the 3rd in 1766. King Humphrey, who was originally from Chelmsford, hated all things Scottish, and intended to introduce a bagpipe ban. However, due to an unfortunate printing error......
The same printing errors also led to drainpipes, standpipes, stovepipes and hornpipes being banned for much of the following decade, until King Humphrey was overthrown by a mob of irate bagpiping dancing plumbers.

Dogging monthly didn’t sell many as one person would buy it, and everyone else would just look over their shoulder to read it.

Doggers start life as joggers, and as they get older and fatter they can only run as far as the local lay by.
