I overtook a tandem, I have seen how fast these things can go when needed but I didn't expect to be caught on this occasion as it was a couple having a steady ride complete with panniers.
About a mile down the road was a standard size trike coming towards me complete with drop bars.
25 mile passed before 2 more tandems came towards me.
Then 2 mile later 2 very low 3 wheel recumbents came toward me, one carrying a barking dog, I saw their flags over the hedgerow before I saw them.
I have never seen such a veriety of machines on one ride.
