The title made me think of monobrows, bad teeth and folk with six digits. But that was just amongst my family.

They've been there a few years, I think.
Now, if you want truly strange signs, there's a "You look beautiful today" on Summer Lane just on the Worle side of the Somerset Avenue underpass. There used to be a 1980s A370 sign on M5J21 by the southbound M5 exit which freaked me out every time (it looked just slightly wrong, with the 3 and 0 the old shapes) but I think they finally removed or replaced it in the last expansion.
If you want really strange, head to Bristol. Signs in Bedminster and Stokes Croft say some very strange things. Weston more often doesn't bother with signs: there are lanes in North Worle, Locking Castle and the Bourneville which have perfectly good names but they're only on maps.
