Off sailing, of sorts.

No bike today, a boat... well a barge. Off on a couple of hour sailing up the Peak Canal.

It's a trip for my sisters birthday. Beers on board, followed by a buffet when we return to the pub. Oh and more beers.

At least its dry today.

It's a very slooooow sailing. Takes 2 hours to get to high lane and back from marple. You can walk it quicker. Apparently the new mills and hayfield trip takes all day.

Just about to set off to my sisters to get a taxi up to the pub. Will have to wind my mum up about the canal being a bit rough with the wind, might get sea sick. Ps she has been on a few cruises, but doesn't like it when it gets a bit rough. No sea legs.
