I'm not hopeful either. I'm in Stirling. I would have gone out for a ride at lunch time but I was asked to do something at 1pm, so i planned to go out after that. By 1pm it was chucking down, so I had a near miss there. I think I'll be hanging my bike gear on the radiator when I get home.

I was just getting to Stockport when that hail shower came down, didn't realise they hurt so much, especially with only a thin Montane jacket on

By far the most 'adventurous' commute ever, that wind is horriblebut the mud on the TPT was worse, had to abandon the route halfway and get back on the roads, even yours and Ian's combined cleaning prowess would struggle to get my bike looking halfway clean after that ;)

Where did you hit the mud - near Reddish Vale under the trees. MTB territory when it's like that.

Well it's hammering it down, but at least I get a tail wind.

I got caught cycling down Oldham Road when the hail started - I know I've got to wear a helmet and I know that it's safer, but it annoyed the hell out of me when the hail started pinging off my lid.

Was v lucky today. Woke up at 6:30-peeing it down. Left at 7am, stayed dry all the way until i got 200yds from work when it chucked it down. Then on the way back it was horrble until about 6:30pm-left anf the rain stopped.

Hail? I've had blue skies and white clouds over here!

Although still getting the 25MPH winds.
