A co-worker of Ms ozboz was riding his MTB through Richmond Park , and suddenly out of the bushes darts a Deer ,
SMACK !!
Bike knackered ,
His back knackerd ,
3 weeks off work ,
Deer legged it ,

Possibly legged it is an exaggeration, wouldn't it simply have staggered away.

Deer are a pain.

In 2008 Mrs Drago hit a deer in her week old car and did nearly 4 grands worth of damage. The deer was a bit battered too.

At first the insurers - Churchill - tried to write it off as a 'fault' claim against her. At the time she had personal insurance through work, and the appointed solicitor wrote to the insurer and asked them to explain how a deer running around loose Ln the M1 was her fault, and what she had done jn any way to contribute towards the incident, beyond drive her car well within the lawful speed limit.

4 days later it was re designated as 'no fault' and her no claims restored, so was worth chancing her arm.
