For my new Marathon Plus on a Fulcrum 5 the other day, I had to dig out a couple of quick release vices to hold the tyre on, get a bit more in, move the vice, repeat, until a final herculean effort levered it on completely. For a while I thought I'd have to take it to the shop. Start to finish fitting the tyre was nearly an hour.
