My month old 105 front mech's pinch bolt just fooking snapped!!

Just took my bike for a short spin when my chain dropped to the small ring for no reason, I thought it just slipped but then i got home I went to loosen it and the head just came off....grrrr, lest see how quick Chain Reaction take to sort.

...and I shall be spinning on the way home tonight

..Just email photos and followed up with a phone call they are sending me a complete new mech...wont get until Tuesday but altogether great service. Yay!!

...just found a temp fix, I've used a bottle cage bolt is just a tad longer but it works...phew

Don't go cutting the bolt down and selling the old mech on E-Bay when the new one arrives now, that would be naughty.

yeah as Campag stuff never breaks and is not made from Italian cheese at all

The bolt looks like its made from a really low grade metal, and its only a month old!!

The replacement mech has arrived...super fast delivery and foc, Unbelievable customer service from the Chain Reaction guys

Ha ha - I was just about to suggest that!

Mind you, they are not worth much. I have an unused and not needed Ultegra front mech but haven't bothered to sell it because I am not sure there would be much money left after paying postage and eBay fees.
