As long as I breathe, I attack.
On nights so if the roads have cleared then i will be on the slicked MTB , took me about 2 hours just to clear the drive to the road , see snow watch for piccie as its a long drive.
I do not trust the virtuoso till i get the rear brake recabled and if the cycle path is still frozen then the MTB has pedals with flats on one side for quicker foot down moments.

I won't. Not a fan of cycling in this slush. I will instead be taking my camera to work and do some photography after work

If it freezes in London tonight, the side roads will be a no go. The main ones will all be almost certainly free of ice however. My journey is almost exclusively on main roads so I may well head off on two wheels. If there is a blizzard blowing, CBA no matter what the road is like.

Have fun.

I won't be cycling, but I wasn't going to anyway (Need to be in four places at various points tomorrow, clean, fresh and carrying stuff!). Tuesday will be the test for me - if the roads are still slushy, or worse still frozen, I might give it a miss.

Yep. I'll be on the road bike with 23mm wheels through Birmingham.

Would use the more sensible 32mm grippier tyres on the more robust hub-geared, disc braked bike. But I haven't bought one yet. So its that or the train. Or the car, which would be just stupid!

There isn't a flake of snow left here ... it was all gone by the end of Saturday. And Sunday felt positively balmy after the cold weather last week so I was out gardening without a coat on.

Looks like a go-er to me this morning.
I'll have to walk it out of my road and I doubt that the industrial estate near work has been gritted at all either, but the 9miles in the middle should be ok. Doesn't feel very cold either, which is a plus.

I'm setting off in another half hour or so. There is still plenty of snow on the ground but the main roads are clear and have been gritted. Unfortunately most of my commute is on country lanes, so I'll be taking the mountain bike with studded tyres.

I cycled in, 5 mintues longer than normal as I took it slowly.

Main roads were fine but the last 3 miles were deep slush and the last steep hill near the factory was fun, slush was guiding me to places that I would rather not have gone! Stayed upright and and safe though.
