Old Bike but just arived.

Picked up this old bike for free on the way home from an afternoon ride. Looked like something my father had so intrigued. Needed a project for the next couple of months, so this seemed ideal. Need to decide what to do with it, restore, keep as is, or change completely. Thought it best to go somewhere where there might be some knowledge, good advice and some interesting threads in a field I have never explored....old bikes. Looking forward to it.

I like old bikes. Made to be repairable and relatively simple mechanically. I like new bikes made in the same style as well. I like cartridge bearings too. I will never aspire to the level of craftsmanship and beauty I've seen in some of the work done by people on this forum, but nonetheless I enjoy keeping my bikes working as they should, even though it ain't pretty.
