Earlier this year, I realised that I needed a new hip. Thus meant a considerable time of inactivity, so, looking for an interest, I decided to buy, and learn a ukulele!! I've joined a ukulele group and if I have improved musically, so be it, but I certainly am enjoying myself.


P.s I'm the dogs whatsit at playing Autumn Leaves!!!

My 10 year old daughter is learning the ukulele in school and she loves it

There's a brand new one under the tree for her, this xmas.

Much better than torturing you parents with a viola or a recorder

Oh yes - Fives and Threes - not played that for years

Tried playing it with some blokes in a pub in Preston (north end) many years back. They had a double set of dominoes (Double blank - Double 12) and got well fleeced
