I've decided to become an old geezer. This......

is how it's done. I think. Looking at the picture I realise that I'm missing a bit of geezerliness. How can I accomplish full geezerdom?

And do you aspire to geezerhood?

I figure all you need is a tattoo, a market stall, an account at the bookies, a pewter mug at the local and a flash (but not quite new) motor.

do you have what it takes?

Far too few lines and a bit clean looking. Some stubble, a flat cap, less trendy specs, a tat, earring and and a jacket but overall, you're nearly there.

as it goes (!) we were on a boat. Or a slice of boat. The geezer next to Mark is Richard Wilson RA. It was his boat (hence the titfer)

I can see getting shot of the Brompton - you only need a Decathlon folder to go down to the pub - but surely the 'Ernesto' is a prime geezer bike? Looking at the picture I think I'm missing a bit of indecision in my stance. I'm too steady on my pins. The shame of it is that I sued to be a promising geezer - down the pub every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, fall asleep in front of Match of the Day. I'm just a little out of geezer condition.

And I'm not entirely unserious. Being a geezer can be a wonderful thing. You can wear wtf you like. You can put on weight. You can not worry overmuch about what you say.

I think geezers are more open-hearted and generous than most people, and I reckon I can learn from them.

I think you'd need to lose the Rapha shirt.

Actually, I know that you'd need to lose the Rapha shirt.
