Saw the Zombies in York last night. Rod Argent can still bash out a decent tune on his keyboards and Colin Blunstone still has a fine voice.

There are plenty of great new bands around - Okkervil River, Slow Club, Flipron, Vampire Weekend, Bright Eyes, and lots more - you've just got to know where to look for them.

Indeed. I'm forever stumbling across artists I like but have never heard of via YouTube, recommendations etc. One of my current faves is Jason Mraz who seems to be excellent live and has a deep passion for his music. Sorry to go a bit OT.
