Having now seen the full kit, in fact it looks much better than just the limited view shown in Dell's opening post. So although I prefer the existing kit, I'll admit I don't particularly mind the new one. It is quite striking and it's only when you see a number of athletes together that you can see the full effect.

Isn't the problem that once you've mugged them, you still need to get away ... and I think the ATHLETE would catch me! (And I would have to check their measurements first before I mug them to make sure it would fit!!).

You have thought about this too much, haven't you, are you desperate?? What if it is a Para athlete and can't easily run after you??

SERIOUSLY THOUGH, although it is nice kit, but I don't feel I could ever buy a replica, seeing as, well, I'm not in the ruddy Olympics!

I'd feel like such a fraud every time I put it on, hell, I feel bad enough wearing team replica cycle jerseys as it is never mind something like that!

I'm willing to bet that any paraolympian would be able to out run/wheel me. I suspect even a swimmer out of water would be able to catch me at full tilt. Anyway, aren't those amazing blade legs potentially faster than mere bone and muscle?

Typical of this country now adays. Everyone trying to take away our identity, I mean for dam sake it's the olympics. Give us our flag colours properly!! If the 'cross' part was red as per flag it would look great. (imo)

Oh, but given all the frothing, I think EVERYONE will know who Britain is anyway. The actual colour makes faff all difference.
