Olympic cycling - the definitive TV schedule

Does anyone fancy writing up a definitive list of all the cycling that will be shown during the Olympics? I'd give it a crack myself but in this life it's important to know ones strengths, and detailed and correct information gathering is not one of my strongest gifts

No, but I can tell you that the road race tomorrow is on BBC Olympic 3 from 9:55am. For those with Virgin meeja, Freesat and Sky.

It's difficult because of the 24 feeds (as well as BBC1/2/3 and BBC HD).

If you tune to channel 550 on virgin (or others actually) it tells you selected schedules for the 24 feeds when off air.

Ah go on then. Note that the events go sequentially on the whole. Road racing, then a 2 day gap, then TT, then 6 days of track, 3 days of BMX and 2 days of MTB. Shamelessly copied (will need a few edits so bear with me):-

It's not finished yet. Unfortunately where that came from either the BBC haven't put in the stuff for their 'key' or simply I've missed the extra detail. Based on previous sporting events I think the former is most likely, but trying to find another source to fill it in (it exists, it is filling it in that's the problem). I'm sure they'll update that though. If I can I'll fill in which tv channels and stuff on it or urge someone to copy a bit of the list for a particular day and do the same.

The most important thing to remember is it starts tomorrow. 2 days road (men's then women's), 2 days break. TTs. 6 days track. 3 days bmx and 2 days mountain bike. All in that order.

The other thing I'd stress again is there are 24 feeds available on virgin/freesat/sky.

It will be or for a fair bit of stuff. The page I copied that off on the BBC has a key http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/2012/schedule-results. Unfortunately it doesn't yet list stuff for the key at the moment, I suspect it will do at some point.

The BBC red button page is here http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tv_and_radio/5345480.stm. Unfortunately there are as ever with that service blanks still on there. Stuff doesn't always follow precisely what they say.

Unfortunately it is not totally clear. For example BBC3 isn't very clear what'll be on before that olympic programme finishes at 2pm. I have a hunch that the later bits of that programme might well be a few flicks of coverage of the road race once gymnastics has finished (otherwise there is a gap) with other 'looking forward to' type stuff fillers and a bit of studio stuff. The red button page even hints at this. I could be wrong though.

As of today it doesn't list anything for cycling on red button 301/302 on freeview.

BBC1 now lists the Sunday on BBC1 at least as being
