I really enjoy all the podcasts in different ways. Yes Daniel is overly verbose but if I was that clever and that multilingual (and I speak 3 languages) I’d be verbose too. I really like Lionel too.

And I love the male friendship in NSF. I think it’s rare to see adult males who just really get on so well and I really appreciate that glimpse into that.

For the women’s peloton (my personal obsession) I like Wheel Talk and TCP feminin. I wish the latter was much more regular.

Yes, the 1986 stuff has been really interesting (although Phil Liggett's almost inaudible whispering annoyed me, as I've moaned about elsewhere ...)

I have really enjoyed the KM0 about Seixas that Daniel Friebe has produced. You had Lionel and Graham reporting day by day, and then Daniel has more of a view when a step back has been taken, and it's not quite as "in the moment" and can be more reflective

Can you recommend me one. I've listened to a few Seek Travel Ride episodes but, as you'd expect, it's very dependent on the guest and their tour location.

TCP was the usual high standard throughout the Tour. Found it a little strange that Friebe didn't ever pop up on the main pod, though.

Ned's one I found a bit weird, travel round with the tour but then just watch it on TV in a French hotel room.

Yes. Wasn't it going to be roadside visits like Ned's Flanders visits and some shows recorded with the race route behind them? Maybe even live streams?

Do we know why it changed? Is it the influence of the "For The Love of..." production house? (Are their other shows similar "talking heads" formats?) Or did Ned continue the Giro format (which has to be different because he's commentating) without really thinking it wasn't what was advertised?

I didn't watch many of them because it didn't add as much to the race as TCP or even Watts Occurring. It felt more like an overlong alternative to TNT's Breakaway.

For some reason I was expecting a mash of Test match special and Down your way (ask your great grand parents).

Didn't think that they added anything beyond what other pods have been doing better for years. Suspect that they didn't procure the funds they were hoping for and the staffing seemed to run to whoever was available to chat with Ned on the day. Maybe both Pete and David having day jobs got in the way.

Lizzie was meant to be there for the whole 3 weeks but she ended up having another baby just a few weeks before the start of the tour, and understandably only turned up for the start and the finish so I guess that changed the plans a bit.
