Yebbut with an opening ceremony audience expected to be 1 billion I suspect you are out-voted.
television audience yes. in the real world they will all be sat on the tube due to a signal fault or one of fat bobs blokes saying " nah sorry mate union rules innit"

Perhaps non-urgent hospital patients could book to use the Olympic BMWs after the VIPs have been seated at their events....

We inject radioactive isotopes into patients and monitor the uptake to asses the physiology of various organs - we are being advised to give our patients letters as they may trigger off the radiation detectors

I saw a bunch of these Beemers today, yikes that's going to add to the congestion something chronic, even before you take into account all the other influx.

have a play with dates etc and look at the changes to 1 way streets

I had a look at that site to work out how it affects my commute. I don't really understand it - it just seems to say there are 'restrictions'. Right.

Am I correct in my conclusion that the top half of west carriage drive through hyde park will be completely inaccessible?

on the hockey test events we counted over 200 sat with engines running.

Then that's driver error. We were taught to take your feet of the pedals when stopped and the engine will automatically stop, starting again when you press a pedal.
