Yes indeed. The Adaptall system seems so mindbreakingly obvious that the wonder is it never lasted.
Of course the lenses are all manual which puts a lot of happy snappers off.

In a related vein, I recently mentioned Kodak over the dinner table, prompting bafflement from my eldest (24), who said it meant nothing to her and indeed she didn't think she'd ever come across the word.

Kodak make nothing now, they licence the name to whoever is looking for a reputable brand for their products. Which is why the "Ten + two free" packs of Kodak AA batteries each have the life of a sneeze.
