Omelettes

Must try this with duck eggs but so rarely see them. Where can you get them?

My Sainsbury's does them, but it's a fairly big one. Is there a farmer's market near you?

Yes, on certain days but we've got a big Sainsbury's so will try there first. Thanks.

Duck eggs are not all they're quacked up to be Chris...don't know where you can get them eider - except from a duck!

The first meal I ever made Mrs Wigs was a Spanish Omelette (in the morning after she stayed over... the hussie!)

That remind me of the put down to a cheesy chat up line:

"So, how do you like your eggs in the morning?"
"Unfertilised...."

I never make omelette, dunno why. Well, last time I tried, it was a bit of a mess. Tasty, but a mess.

I like scrambled eggs though.

For breakfast or lunch? I might have just 2 for breakfast...but if peckish 3 for lunch. depends on size, but mostly just 2.

Have had an ostridge egg omelette though (got given it for free on a farm as I was really upset when the chickens didn't lay any eggs - and the farmer promised they would and I could take some....this was a few years ago, I was probably about 18)
