You obviously have no idea of the miles Aperitif casually does, he may well be that roadie behind you and I know, for a fact, he carries a camera

Now now MacBludgeon! I was in Newport* yesterday, actually,Lisa...

*The one in Essex - don't worry. Yet. (Or ever - as Newport is 220km+ away from Betws-y-coed for example! That's a day's riding for the CC peloton!)

Well, just got back in now-did slightly less miles in a slightly longer time so must still be feeling the effects from yesterday. Did my 30 again tho so pleased with myself, and did that hill again too!!!!!:hyper:Didnt meet Aperetif today tho so no pics!!!!!

Did 30.8 miles in 2 hours and 54 mins-is that ok ish do you think? I didnt rush. I cant believe I did the hill again,SO CHUFFED I can do that and survive! Might not sound so impressive when I confess that iv already reached 1st gear by about a quater of the way up though:blush:

Took a couple more pics of scary hills I encountered(and I did them ALL!!!!) which iv put with t'others. Hope everyones had a good days riding, im off for a shower. My second one today-i got soaked when i went out but then the sun came out and its been lovely since!! xx

I think that's good, speed is relative, the more miles you do the higher your cruising speed will become. There will be days when you just haven't got the same energy levels though.

Getting straight back out and doing 30 again the next day is A+. Folks will tell you not to overdo it, but your body will tell you that a lot more accurately.

You'll be replacing potential muscle with actual muscle and that weighs more. Judge it on the clothes feeling looser.
