BBQ beetroot is nice .

Pickled - most of the time.
Boiled and served with white sauce as a nice alternative

Pickled - yuck.....
Fresh from the garden and boiled is much nicer....

Hope you're arms are feeling much better now. I know I am missing my kitchen something chronic at the moment... Dare not look in the fridge, I can see the disaster the work surfaces are!

PS it is worth looking under the Mac and making sure you are not blocking any air vents. I am using a thick pillow, a c cushion and an upturned tray to prevent my laptop from overheating. The upturned tray is simply because for some reason it slides less on the underneath than when on it the right way up

Careful that Mac doesn't overheat - a squishy cushion is the least ideal surface for it.

3 egg omelette cooked in melted salted butter folded with just a little grated cheese inside... yum. The first thing I was taught when I started working Thursday and Friday evenings in a local restaurant when I was 17. Still one of my favourites, with a little fresh ground black pepper and some fresh bread and butter. Yum.
