Another one was Eddie and his....... 'temporary traffic lights at Birdhall Lane'

I don’t remember the circus one but yes, the traffic lights plus Tommy - loved the “hate the people I work with” one ! Plus Ken and was it Phil and Nige, the coppers In the back room?

The circus one was from Eddie's missus.
All the characters in the show were pure quality.

Bottom was top stuff.
Rick Mayall was a big loss to comedy. The character he played in the early series of Man Down was funny as fook.

Dave Allen never fails to make me lough. The bit about the nun. Made me lough my mates Nan was a captain in Salvation Army. When she went from pub to pub selling the war cry she did the same thing drinking out a cup and saucer.
