On One Pompetime 8 speed with Shimano Alfine hub , a very lightly used example .

Finished in black paintwork with contrasting gold decals that has picked up a couple of storage related marks and some loss of paint around the bottom headset cup .

Frame size 19" or 48.5cm measured from centre of crank to top of seat post tube and aprox 20 1/4" or 51 cm along the top tube and has a 29" or 75 cm standover height .

Full alfine gearing incl bar mounted shifter and black crank with 170 arms some paint loss on non drive side . Wheels are shimano 700 wh500 fitted with Vittorio Randoneur cross pro 700 x 32 tyres that are slightly cracked on the sidewall but still very useable .

Shimano discs fr & rr with avid cable operated calipers provide adequate stopping power via Sram via levers .

Planet x 80 stem with on one Mary bars and on one seat post with a gel saddle that has a slight mark on the rear . 2 sets of bottle cage mounts but only 1 cage . Has mounting points for rack and guards .

An ideal commuting machine that has been very lightly used by the look of it .

I wish I was a little bit smaller.
That's the "reverse Skee-lo principle".

I'd love to stick all that on a Surly frame, but that'd be a bit of a shame, I think the Pompetamine had a mild following.

thanks @gaijintendo and @Drago it was part of a bulk buy over the weekend and it seemed to good to miss really

I used it yesterday for just under 10 miles of cycle path commuting and was well impressed , it would make an ideal commuter although i would change the bar and stem set up for my prolonged personal use

Aww, a Straggler was essentially what I was fantasising with. Sounds like a wonderful idea!
Frame has been in the shed for too long waiting for the stars to align.
