I was certainly touched by the number of GWS messages I received after falling seriously ill recently. Half of them are probably from members who have come on my forum rides, but the others are from random CC members who have never met me. (Thanks everyone! )

I liked it when I was struggling on a road the other day and a group of cyclists went past and were saying "come on mate, you're nearly at the top.....come on!!!'

I was really surprised by it because I obviously don't look like a proper cyclist......yet these guys saw me as one of them......really egged me on, it was ace.

I think this is one of the better ones, I’ve been on many forums and this one and a gardening one I belong to, are some of the few sites where the good guys outnumber the hate mongers.
