Home from cycling last Wednesday, chucked my kit in the laundry net in my room & had a shower. Back in my room - I encountered a faint locker room odour xx(
#1 had decided it was his laundry day & the kitchen floor was covered in various piles of his clothes, so I stuck my smelly kit in a black sack til the machine was free.
My new bed arrived Thursday & I had to make some space to build it, so moved a few things out onto the landing.
Today I realised I hadn't washed my club jersey & I need it for tomorows bimble round Kent.
Ok so where is my jersey..? Oh yeah still in the black bin bag... Ok there are 3 black bin bags on the landing, kids clothes waiting to go to the charity shop, but no bin bag with cycling kit in it
Had I washed it without even noticing? Surely not. Check airing cupbaord & the drying rcak in the dining room, Nope no jersey or kit... WTF
Think woman Think, what did you do with it? Then I had a thought - I hadn't thrown it in the bin outside? Surely not
Open lid to be met by the aroma of used cat litter xx(xx( I always do the litter tray on a Friday eve.
I can see one bag at the bottom of the bin, it's split open & there poking out is my jersey!
4 washes later & the puddy cat smell has almost gone!!

Once I hit 40 (not saying you have  ) I have experienced many of what can only be described as "top of the stairs" moments.

For my 30th my mum bought me a book entitled "Blonde Moments"
5 months later & her 60th, I returned the joke with "Senior Moments"
We read it togther - About 95% of it already applied to me..and that was 11 years ago!

Neice once was ordered to tidy her room and put things she didn't want in the charity shop plastic bag, which grudgingly she did and said bag was delivered by B-in-Law to charity shop.

It was only the day after that they realised that said neice 'did not need' his i-pod, his new t shirt and several other items...

Probably shouldn't but made me chuckle.

One of my Burmese cats decided one day to dispense with the litter tray or the back garden and urinate over my cycling kit that was on the kitchen floor waiting to go into the washing machine  The smell that eminated from the pile was not good. It took several washes to get rid of the pong of cat pee.

Maybe it felt its territory was being threatened, and decided to "mark" your cycling kit to claim the house back from you. After all, cats are the bosses and they tolerate their humans, in the natural pecking order ... perfectly normal behaviour (for cats)

I love Burmese cats, a friend has one - sadly out of my price range I just have your bog standrad moggies LOL!

Norman the wind is blowing west to east - you're safe

Off to Kent yesterday, picked up friends on route & hugs exchanged, my friend sniffed, and said "Hmmm Nice perfume!"
Damn it!! Obvioulsy my nostrils had just got used to the puddycat aroma!!
