Home from cycling last Wednesday, chucked my kit in the laundry net in my room & had a shower. Back in my room - I encountered a faint locker room odour
#1 had decided it was his laundry day & the kitchen floor was covered in various piles of his clothes, so I stuck my smelly kit in a black sack til the machine was free.
My new bed arrived Thursday & I had to make some space to build it, so moved a few things out onto the landing.
Today I realised I hadn't washed my club jersey & I need it for tomorows bimble round Kent.
Ok so where is my jersey..? Oh yeah still in the black bin bag... Ok there are 3 black bin bags on the landing, kids clothes waiting to go to the charity shop, but no bin bag with cycling kit in it
Had I washed it without even noticing? Surely not. Check airing cupbaord & the drying rcak in the dining room, Nope no jersey or kit... WTF
Think woman Think, what did you do with it? Then I had a thought - I hadn't thrown it in the bin outside? Surely not
Open lid to be met by the aroma of used cat litter
I always do the litter tray on a Friday eve.
I can see one bag at the bottom of the bin, it's split open & there poking out is my jersey!
4 washes later & the puddy cat smell has almost gone!!
