Has the zip itself failed, or just the puller? I've had problems with overshoes' zip pullers breaking (because they seem to be made of very soft, breakable metal), and so I replace them with a small key ring, which is even easier to use than the original puller.

Here for rides.
For pity's sake people....

it's "unto".

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.

There is an answer to the zip in the Royal Naval School of Engineering Manual

This comes under the definition of something moving where it shouldn't so the answer is:

Just use your spare pair. Surely everyone has more than one set of the essentials, if not they should have.

If not get the gaffer tape out, now that is a must have in every household.
Mine were falling apart and I did use gaffer tape to repair them. @DiddlyDodds saw them and took pity on me. I met him halfway round his Sunday ride last weekend and he gave me a spare set! :thumbsup:

The zip on my Enduras went within the first few rides. Not at all my favourite brand. Still looking for overshoes that work well with size 48 shoes.

Well, I was not going to, er, look a gift overshoe in the zip! :laugh:

I'll see how I get on with them. The toe section on these looks a lot tougher than the fronts of my previous pairs and that is where they normally wear out.
