I think Pogles' Wood is still my favourite after the Clangers.
I loved Pogles Wood. Half my friends - who are the same age - don't remember Pogle's Wood. I loved Noggin too and have all of them on video. Must find them on DVD. We have all the Bagpuss'. I think we have all The Clangers too but would have to go and rummage as all the DVDs are away ready for moving.

I do have all 3 of the Camberwick Green, Trumpton & Chigley DVDs. I adored them.
Looking forward to seeing the new Clangers. I am sure that Michael Palin in just the chap for the job.

Has no one remembered the soup dragon  Poor soupie - you are still my hero tho'

Pretty sure the Soup dragon got a mention upthread...

What about the Froglets!

Postgate was a bit of a visionary really. We watched a Clangers Episode on Youtube recently where they find a machine in bits. They assemble it, and wind it up and it starts to produce plastic objects. Hats, and cookie cutters, and toy cars and all sorts. But the can't stop it, and get overwhelmed in a sea of plastic tat.

Luckily, they have the Froglets and their magic disappearing hat to help them out. We're not so lucky...

Well, I hope not anyway!
True, but he has mentioned 'a new Clangers for a new age' which fills me with dread. And Americans are involved. And the budget is apparently £5 million, which seems like an awful lot for wool.

I'll give it a chance, but I'm not expecting much.
