I can't imagine a modern replica with no front brakes would be allowed on the road.

Further research suggests a Mors 24/32 from about 1904

It may be real. 2007 I was in Uruguay where they seem (partly through necessity perhaps) to keep old cars on the road. It bugs me that one day I saw a visually similar car but didn't have my camera, cartwheel style wheels, open top, pootling through the town I was staying at. I seem to remember it had a badge 'Rugby'perhaps. It was quite clearly original, American perhaps because I've never seen a car made by Rugby
